Dysgraphia is a complex and often misunderstood learning difference that significantly impacts a student’s ability to write effectively. This 2-hour course is designed specifically for occupational therapy practitioners seeking the latest evidence-based strategies to support students with dysgraphia. Participants will explore the signs and symptoms of dysgraphia, distinguish between top-down and bottom-up intervention approaches, and examine cognitive strategies that promote writing success. The course will also highlight school-based accommodations, debunk common myths, and introduce practical ways artificial intelligence (AI) can be leveraged to assist students.
Therapists will leave with actionable tools and a deeper understanding of how to address dysgraphia in a meaningful, client-centered way.
